Hello! My name is Sheri Black. I grew up in Gwinnett County. I attended Centerville Elementary, Five Forks Middle School, and graduated from Brookwood High School in 1986. I attended Jacksonville State University, Dekalb College, and graduated from Georgia College. I taught Kindergarten in Henry County for 16 years before moving home in 2006 to assist with my aging parents. I began my teaching career in Gwinnett County at Grayson Elementary where I was a 2nd grade teacher. I am a Charter Staff member of Starling Elementary. I taught 2nd grade the last two years and I am thrilled to be returning to my first love, Kindergarten! I married the love of my life in October of 2009. We have 2 zany pup pups, Gizmo and Georgia Belle. I love to camp, read, watch movies, and cook! I believe that children learn best by doing.... Kindergarten will be a year of learning, laughter, and fun! Thank you for joining in me in this journey! It is going to be a
